Walter E. Long Metro Park
Just across 130 from Whisper Valley, Walter E. Long Metro Park is one of the largest parks in East Austin! The park surrounds a large lake that is a popular fishing spot. You can also rent kayaks to enjoy the lake.
Play volleyball or run the 2.64-mile trail. Walter E. Long Metro Park also has a barbecue pit, picnic tables and a picnic shelter for your perfect afternoon outing with family and friends.
Roy G Guerrero Colorado River Park
This park boasts a secret beach along the Colorado River! At Roy G Guerrero Colorado River Park, you’ll find a disc golf course, BMX track, a batting cage, volleyball, softball, baseball and several mixed-use fields.
There are also playgrounds for the kids and nearly 2 miles of trails.
Rosewood Park and Pool
