Register Now for the 2022 Whisper Valley 5K & 10K Fun Run

The 5th annual Whisper Valley 5K & 10K takes place on Saturday, Sept. 17! The timed fun run takes runners through the newest phases of the community, Highview and Glenmore, and will also feature a fun lineup of activities and vendors, including a Farmers Market and tours of our model homes.

Event Information

The Whisper Valley 5K & 10K takes place from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. on Sept. 17 at Whisper Valley, 9400 Petrichor Blvd. Whisper Valley, TX. TX 78653. This year, the annual festival is introducing a 10K race in addition to the traditional 5K.

The event begins at 7:30 a.m. with registration and bib pickup. The 5K race begins promptly at 8 a.m. with the 10K following soon after.

Participants who register by Friday, Sept. 9, will be eligible for early bib pickup at the Whisper Valley Discovery Center from Monday, Sept. 12-Friday, Sept. 16 from Noon-6 p.m.

The Manor Farm to Market Farmers Market will also take place from 8 a.m.-Noon featuring local Austin vendors. Interested vendors can apply to participate here.

The event also features Andy’s Mini’s food truck, family fun including a bounce house, face painting, balloon artist and games/activities, beverages, a DJ, raffle prizes and much more.

Registration Information

Click here to register! Now through Sept. 9, you can take advantage of early registration for the 2022 Whisper Valley 5K & 10K: $30 per runner for the 5K and $35 per runner for the 10K. The price increases to $35 for the 5K and remains $35 for the 10K from Sept. 10-17. Runners will also be able to register on race day beginning at 7:30 a.m. inside the Whisper Valley Discovery Center.

Each participant will receive a finisher medal, performance T-shirt, swag bag and the chance to enter to win raffle prizes during the event.

Portions of proceeds from the event will benefit FarmShare Austin, a 501c3 organization that provides extensive education and training for new farmers to establish sustainable agricultural businesses. Additionally, food grown on FarmShare’s 10-acre certified organic farm in Eastern Travis County is provided to food insecure communities in Central Texas by way of Mobile Markets. These Mobile Markets are an aspect of the City of Austin’s “Fresh for Less” initiative.

Whisper Valley 5K & 10K Course MapThe 5K and 10K will be professionally timed and scored by RaceTimerz. Runners, walkers, strollers and dogs are all welcome! The top 3 overall male and female finishers will receive awards.

The race will be timed using reusable, RFID shoe tags. Results will be available at our Result Kiosk at the race and online at www.raceTimerz.com.

The new course this year will take runners through all four phases of Whisper Valley. The 5K will complete one lap while the 10K will complete two laps.

New Phases in Whisper Valley

Pre-sales for new homesites in Phase 3 and 4, Highview and Glenmore at Whisper Valley, will begin this month. The new phases feature new nature trails and homes priced from the mid $300s-$600s by Pacesetter Homes, GFO Home, AHA Dream Homes, Thurman Homes and Terrata Homes.

Interested buyers will be able to tour model homes during the event and learn more about new home opportunities in Whisper Valley.
